Bookshelf Tour: High Fantasy, Part II

Welcome to the bookshelf tour! Previously: Nonfiction | Buddhism & Yoga | Poetry & Adult Fiction | Adult Fiction & Graphic Novels | Horror & Classics | Tolkien | Contemporary Romance | Middle Grade | Middle Grade & Classics | Harry Potter & Shadowhunters | Urban Fantasy, Part I, II, III, IV & Classics | Top of Shelves | High Fantasy, Part I. ICYMI, since I’m not on Booktube, and never will be, I wanted to travel through my shelves on a biweekly adventure on the blog. Since these are going to be pretty long, I won’t ramble on, so let’s get to it! About half of these are read, though probably only a handful are reviewed, so I’ll link to Goodreads if it’s available.

This shelf has changed so much since I took these pictures because I just read fantasy constantly, but what can you do? This entire bookshelf tour is going to be outdated by the time I finish, and I’m honestly not even mad about it. I also can’t believe we only have a few weeks left? What is this madness?

The last of the Funkos! To round out my motley crew, we’ve got Gomez, Morticia, Pugsley, and Wednesday Addams from The Addams Family, a Niffler from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the Witch-king of Angmar and his trusty fellbeast from The Lord of the Rings, and Jen, Fizzgig, and Kira from The Dark Crystal.

And without the stuff so you can actually see the books.

High Fantasy, Part II

My top three in this section is:

I’m planning on reading them early 2021, we’ll see how that goes. 🙂

Your only unread book caught my eye, haha. I’m guessing that’s David Clement-Davies? I looooved his books Firebringer and The Sight when I was in middle school. I’ll have to look this up.

Oh, I didn’t even realize that was the only unread one! It’s a book that I bought while in high school, or earlier, and then just never read because that’s what I was known for, but I’ve kept it all these years because it sounds wonderful, so I should probably get around to actually reading it! Glad to know that his other books are good, too!

I looked it up – it sounds quite different from the two books I loved (which are animal stories, one about deer and one about wolves) but I can see the appeal!
