Welcome to the bookshelf tour! Previously: Nonfiction | Buddhism & Yoga | Poetry & Adult Fiction | Adult Fiction & Graphic Novels | Horror & Classics | Tolkien | Contemporary Romance | Middle Grade | Middle Grade & Classics | Harry Potter & Shadowhunters | Urban Fantasy, Part I. ICYMI, since I’m not on Booktube, and never will be, I wanted to travel through my shelves on a biweekly adventure on the blog. Since these are going to be pretty long, I won’t ramble on, so let’s get to it! About half of these are read, though probably only a handful are reviewed, so I’ll link to Goodreads if it’s available.
I wish I’d broken up my urban fantasies into magical realism and everything else since I think I have quite a few magical realism books, but that’s for another day. I think all of my Maggie books are on this shelf, too?
This one’s a little less cluttered with things–we’ve got a painted wooden dorje stand that I stared at for months before finally buying in Salem @ Tibet Arts & healing, three small selenite wands and a HUGE one that’s over a pound and only cost me $6, a beautiful clear quartz cluster with a point, an actual Venetian mask that Jen got me from Venice, a fake succulent, my three favorite stones that I own (raw sunstone, raw moonstone, tumbled opal), and a white wooden elephant.
And without the stuff so you can actually see the books.
My top three in this section is:
Urban Fantasy, Part II
Eat the Sky, Drink the Ocean by Various | ★★★★
The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater | ★★★★★
Lament by Maggie Stiefvater | ★★★★
Forever by Maggie Stiefvater | ★★★★★
